The devastating situation in Ukraine has led to a host of solidarity actions across the world. Málaga, the Club and Foundation have responded to the crisis.
On 12th March, Málaga CF launched an initiative in the match against SD Ponferradina, donating one euro from every ticket sold to the Mayden association (Ukrainians on the Costa del Sol) to buy supplies. In addition, the players of both teams and referees posed for a photo with a #STOPINVASION poster against the war. In addition, on 27th March, in the match against SD Huesca, our Escort Kids was dedicated to Ukrainian children in an action organised with BeSoccer.
LaLiga has always shown its support for Ukraine. Many of the Spanish clubs have responded to the call for solidarity, including Málaga CF. ‘Teaming up for peace’ is another campaign to do our bit for Ukraine. Visit www.laligaconucrania.com to make a donation, in collaboration with the Red Cross.
