Málaga CF makes traditional floral offering to the Patron Saint of Sport

The first team, coaching team and directors, headed up by president, Abdullah Al Thani made the traditional floral offering to the ‘Divine Shepherdess’.

The Malaguista entity made the traditional floral offering to the ‘Divine Shepherdess’ this afternoon. Málaga CF president, Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani addressed the attendees with a message of unity between religions and cultures, and just before the floral offering to the Patron wished for her to “bring great happiness and luck for Málaga CF.”

Team captains, Duda and Weligton then presented a bouquet of flowers in the name of the Club to the Patron Saint of Sport. The rest of the group also made individual offerings.

At the end of the act, goalkeeper, Kameni stated: “It’s an important moment for believers. Asking for divine protection is very sacred and important to us.”

Like every year, the protagonists posed for a group photo along with the ‘Divine Shepherdess’, ahead of the imminent start of the season on Friday at La Rosaleda against CA Osasuna, kicking off at 20:45.
