In a ceremony held at La Rosaleda during half-time, Executive Vice-President, Moayad Shatat presented the ‘Malagueña’ with a number 1 official shirt, with her name on the back.
 
Carolina Navarro was crowned World Champion this year and winner of the Master PPT 2012, along with Cecilia Reiter.  She has also won 11 Spanish Championships, numerous World Championships both in pairs and in teams, and has been named world number one for the fourth consecutive year.
