Málaga CF Femenino put the finishing touch to the season with a victory at La Rambla

The women’s first team end the season with a 2-3 win against La Rambla ADFB, to finish third in the rankings. The women’s reserve team has qualified for the semi-finals of the Copa Federación after defeating CD El Palo in San Ignacio by 1-2.

The Málaga CF Femenino first team defeated La Rambla ADFB by 2-3, in the the 26th Segunda División Nacional, Group IV match. Raúl Iznata’s girls end the season in the best way, flying the Blue and White flag with an away win. In minute 10, Encarni opened the scoring with an impressive goal after elaborating on an individual action. Following the goal, the team focused on the attack, with Pamela generating numerous chances to increase their lead. However, in minute 30, Marta levelled up to make it 1-1, with no change to the scoreboard at half-time.

In the second half, Ali put La Rambla in the lead (2-1, minute 46). A triple change within the Malaguistas reinforced the Blue and Whites’ team. In the 60th minute, Pamela equalised with a great goal following a pass from María Ruiz, left by Luisa so Pamela could take advantage from inside the area to launch the ball to the back of the net. With the scoreboard all square, Málaga CF Femenino dominated the field of play, and with just 10 minutes remaining, María Ruiz sealed the final comeback to outwit the rival keeper and net the winning goal (2-3, minute 80). This goal makes the Málaga CF Femenino player the highest-scorer on the team, with 16 league goals. Málaga CF’s women’s first team end the season in third place with 63 points.

 

Málaga CF Femenino reserve team

Málaga CF Femenino’s reserve team defeated CD El Palo in San Ignacio by 1-2, in the second quarter-final match of the Copa Federación. Following a first half in which, despite there being a goalless draw, the Blue and Whites imposed their gameplay and Noelia’s girls came back from going 1-0 down, as local player, Víbora opened the scoring in minute 56.

Four minutes later, Málaga CF Femenino’s highest scorer, María Ruiz made it 1-1 following a pass from Ana. Farfán made it 1-2 in the 78th minute, slamming the ball into the net following a free kick from María. The final result was a 1-2 win for the Blue and Whites.

 

Málaga CF Femenino Promesas

The Promesas team lost 5-1 to Puerta Blanca in the first Copa Federación match of their category. Ayala’s girls were up against Puerta Blanca’s male team and played a decent game. In minute 83, Chenoa hooked a ball inside the area, to secure the final 5-1 result.
