Málaga CF and the institutions against gender violence

At La Rosaleda, with more than 20,000 Malaguistas, the Club and the institutions joined forces against gender violence.

For Malaguistas, the International Day Against Gender Violence began on 20th November at the Malaguista temple. The Malaguista entity raised its voice on its social networks to echo the institutional campaigns of #25N.

During the match between Málaga CF and UD Las Palmas, the institutions presented their campaigns in support of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. “Bit by bit, gender violence ruins lives,” by the Diputación de Málaga; “Leave the male chauvinist alone,” by Málaga City Hall; “Don’t fall into his trap,” by the Junta de Andalucía; and #061forall, by the sub-delegation of the government, were featured on the screen and posters distributed throughout La Rosaleda.

Present at La Rosaleda’s Palco de Honor were María Dolores Fernández Trinidad, delegate for equality at the Junta de Andalucía; Beatriz González Mora, Technical Director of Social Services and Families at the Diputación de Málaga; Mar Torres Casado, adviser to the City Hall's Department of Equality; and Elena Mendoza Rull, Head of the Unit fighting Violence against Women within the Government Sub-delegation, saw how the 22,128 Malaguistas in the stands got behind their respective campaigns against gender violence.

In addition, the 7,000 young Malaguistas in the Blue and White stands were accompanied by the Head of the Minors Protection Service of the Junta de Andalucía, Eugenio Castillo Vergudo, who didn’t want to miss out on such a special day.

Málaga Club de Fútbol, together with the Málaga institutions, against gender violence. Malaguistas, we will end this social scourge together with Memory, Commitment and Faith. Not one more.
