The Provincial Board of the Provincial Delegation of Málaga, via the RFAF, unanimously decided to award the Royal Spanish Football Federation’s Centenary Coin to Málaga CF, for its contribution, development and promotion of Andalucían football. ‘Malaguista’ adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar accepted the award on behalf of the Club.
In turn, and also unanimously, Abdullah Ben Barek received the same distinction in virtue of his merits during his long and successful footballing career. The gala’s awards ceremony was held on Monday at the Carthima Theatre in Cártama. “It is wonderful to be recognised for the work you’ve done,” comments a delighted Ben Barek.
