Málaga CF landed in the Belgian capital at 12:45 p.m., ahead of tomorrow’s second UEFA Champions League group stage match against Anderlecht.
The ‘Malaguista’ group left Málaga airport at 9:30 this morning, led by Vice President, Moayat Shatat; Francisco Martín Aguilar, Institutional Relations Adviser; Vicente Casado, General Manager; Víctor Varela, Deputy Manager of Communications and Organisation; and Mario Husillos, Sports Director. As well as the players, coaching team and other First Team professionals, a total of 90 fans and 20 journalists are also travelling with the team.
The group arrived in Brussels on a cloudy afternoon, with a slightly cooler temperature than in Málaga, at 15 degrees. The team is staying at Hotel Sofitel Brussels Europe, and has a training session scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Vanden Stock stadium.
