The Málaga CF defender was in the starting-11 against CD Numancia having totally recovered from his injury: “The desire to play at La Rosaleda and the excitement of competing again makes you forget about everything else”, he stated.

“Necessary points because of the situation we’re in and for the standings. Achieving a victory in the Second Division allows you to take steps forward and the rivals don’t increase their advantage. Climbing positions and adding points gives you confidence for the next game. The victory was well-deserved, in the second half we stepped up, advanced lines, we had chances to get ahead on the scoreboard earlier on, but luckily we won in the final minutes”.
