Recio and Juanmi were absent due to their International commitments with Spain's U-20 and U-19, while Malagueño continued with his recovery exercises. For his part, goalkeeper, Rubén alternated with working out in the gym and specific work with goalkeepers coach Xabi Mancisidor.
