Preparations are advancing for the V #SiempreFuerte Awards, taking place at Museo Picasso Málaga on Tuesday 29th March at 19:30.
La Mari de Chambao will follow in the footsteps of María Peláe, Diana Navarro, Marina Rojas and ‘El Kanka’; an unbeatable list of supportive and committed artists from Málaga who have performed at past awards ceremonies. At the fifth gala, La Mari will be in charge of opening and closing the awards, providing a special and unique performance where she will play the hang, an ideal instrument for the songs she’ll perform. In addition, she will be accompanied by a cast of spectacular musicians made up of Coki Jiménez, Yelsy Heredia, Joselito Acedo and Agustín Carrillo. The Málaga-born singer is one of the benchmarks of the national music scene, and has been since she started with Chambao and her first demo in 2001, and now she’s recording her new album.
In 2020 she released ‘Corazón Valiente’, an emotional song in which she pays tribute to our beloved Pablo Ráez. Who better to represent the gala’s special character! With her personal flamenco touch, La Mari will maintain the true essence of the #SiempreFuerte Awards gala and will fill the stage of the Picasso Museum in Malaga with her art.
