La Academia wins Ben Barek tribute match (1-0)

It was a special day in Casablanca yesterday for Málaga CF adviser, Abdallah Ben Barek and another three legendary Moroccan players. A Málaga CF ‘Juvenil’ team defeated the Mirofoot Academy by 1-0, thanks to a goal from Marc Samper.

Former footballers, Ben Barek, Hassan Akesbi, Abdellah Zhar and the late Haj Abdelkader Jalal were honoured in yesterday’s international friendly between young La Academia players and the Mirofoot Academy.
 
The ‘Malaguistas’ got the chance to explore Casablanca, and visited the Hassan II Mosque – the highest and second largest temple in the world.
