There were a number of highlights from the 1-1 tie between Málaga and Almería last Friday, which we’ll look at below in our particular kilometre:

Wet, cold, late kick-off time, strong wind, intermittent heavy rain… It wasn’t exactly the best scenario, not forgetting the open national television broadcast, to attend La Rosaleda. However, neither the elements nor the circumstances stop the faithful Malaguistas from seeing their team at the temple, enjoying the victory or suffering when the result doesn’t go their way. In addition, there was great camaraderie with the Almería supporters. Nice work, fans.
Debut of Erik Morán
He came, he trained and… he played. Part of the starting line-up, with a noticeable physical pace. Occupying the wide area, together with MVP Keidi, with N’Diaye and Adrián on the wings, Erik showed good placement and technical skills with the ball at his feet. He was rewarded with an ovation by fans when he left the pitch in the 74th minute, to make way for another of the winter signings, Yevhen Seleznov.
Adrián’s fifth
One of the characteristics of his game that the number ‘8’ best exploits is, without doubt, his arrival at the area. Counting his goal against Almería, with an epic finish, he’s now scored five so far this season. As such, Adrián is the second highest-scorer on the team, behind Blanco Leschuk. Versatility, hard work and goal are at the service of Muñiz from one of his captains, who enjoyed a sweet moment in the opposing goal.

It’s not ideal conceding a goal in stoppage time that deprives you of victory that would place you provisionally in the top spot. However, this situation, not unusual in such a competitive league, doesn’t detract from the fact that the team scored points from their fourth consecutive match following the painful defeat against Reus. Eight of the last possible 12 points at stake and always, from matchday 1, remaining in the top part of LaLiga 1|2|3. Indisputable.
