Kameni, Keko and Demichelis spread smiles at the Children’s Hospital

The Málaga CF players visited the Haematology-Oncology ward of the Children’s Hospital, to bring presents for the young patients and spend time with them.

Málaga CF, via its Foundation, carried out the traditional visit by first team players to the boys and girls on the Haematology-Oncology ward of the Children’s Hospital, to mark International Childhood Cancer Day (15th February). The visit also counted on the presence of the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC).

First team players, Kameni, Keko and Demichelis, along with Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’, from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, visited the hospital to bring gifts to the boys and girls. They presented them with shirts and cuddly toys, and took photos with the children. They also made themselves available for an interview with one of the children.

Martín Demichelis, who previously took part in this visit several years ago, says to MCFTV: “It’s important to make the kids smile. It’s great to be able to help”. Keko was also thrilled to be part of the visit: “It makes us appreciate many things. We love doing things like this and encouraging the children and their families”:

Kameni, very close to the children, highlights his life lesson. “When they have people in their room that they know, it’s a plus for them, it gives them strength. As a message, I would say: you’re not alone, we’re with you”.
