Victory for Málaga CF away from home against the Sevilla FC reserve team on matchday 15 of Group 4 Primera Nacional Femenina. The latest Malaguista signing, Judith scored the definitive 2-3 winner shortly before the full-time whistle.
There were many Blue and White fans at the ground for this Sunday morning fixture, watching their team play at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros.
Ayala selected the following starting-11 Andrea Ríos in goal; Encarni, Silvia Mérida, captain Ruth and Marina in defence; Lorena, María Cortés, Clo and Bertuchi in midfield; Futu and Claudia Muñoz on the attack.
The first half was pretty even between both sides, with the defenders imposing themselves on the strikers. In the second half there was a triple Blue and White substitution, with Olmedo, Pastora and Judith coming on, the latter making her re-debut wearing the MCFF jersey.
Surprisingly, Sevilla took the lead thanks to Anabel (1-0, 61’). The reaction was immediate, with two consecutive goals that flipped the scoreboard around. First Futu(1-1, 65’) then Bertuchi straight after (1-2, 67’), showed the team’s confidence, character and power.
In the closing stages, Sevilla B managed to go level with a goal from López (2-2, 81’). But again, MCFF showed the skills of champions. Judith, who joined the team this week, scored the winning goal(2-3, 84’).
Another three points for the leaders Málaga CF with 43 points (14 victories, one draw) from 15 matches in the league competition. Vamos, Málaga!
