Juanpi, an example of Blue and Whites’ values

The young Málaga CF player conveyed the values of the campaign, organised by the MCF Foundation and La Caixa Social Project, to the students of Hans Christian Andersen school.

First team player, Juanpi Añor; Atlético Málaga’s Chelsea; La Academia coach, Rubén Castillo; and CaixaBank branch director, Juan José Márquez were in charge of taking the Blue and Whites’ values to Hans Christian Andersen school in Distrito Cruz de Humilladero.

During his chat to the pupils, Juanpi emphasised the importance of good habits and behaviour, and affirmed: “It’s very rewarding to receive such a great reception and seeing the delight on the children’s faces,” during his visit to the nearly 800 infant and primary school children.

For her part, Chelsea talked about the fundamental values of gender equality, and said to the children: “Girls can also play football.”  A sport in which Málaga have a great “fan base who always support Málaga, whether male or female, and it’s lovely to see such young fans,” commented Chelsea.  Juanpi was in agreement: “Children wear their team shirts around the city with pride, and we’re seeing more and more boys and girls wearing their Málaga CF shirts.”
