Juanmi: "I’m training hard to earn my place here”

Striker Juanmi spoke to the media on Friday, at the press room in the Estadio Ciudad de Málaga.

Statements from Juanmi

(Córdoba) “It was a good game for us, and I felt comfortable.  The team played a great match and I played well with Samu”.

(Personal) “You have to have patience, work day to day, and learn as much as possible. You need to keep working to be able to play more minutes on the pitch.  Transferring?  This isn’t part of my plan, I’m a Málaga player, and I’m dedicating myself to training every day to earn my place here”.

(Learning) “With players like Van Nistelrooy, Cazorla or Joaquín, I learn from them every day, we’re very close, and they’re home-grown players like us.  We’re young and working to have the opportunity”.

(Competition) “The friendly games are there for players who haven’t played as many minutes, and we need to take advantage of these opportunities.  There’s a lot of competition in the team this year, and earning a place is quite difficult, but we’re ambitious young men, and looking forward to being there”.
