Malaguistas, Juankar, Baysse, Ben Barek, Club adviser, and Basti, from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, visited the children’s ward of the Hospital de Antequera, organised by AVOI and the Malaguista Foundation, to deliver presents to children undergoing cancer treatment. The players gave out Blue and White jerseys, footballs and posters to all the boys and girls, who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.
Boys and girls from Antequera and the surrounding towns gathered together, took photographs with the players and even challenged them to a mini football match, with two small goal areas at each end of the corridor. It was undoubtedly “a different day full of excitement and fun”, comments Daniel Moreno, deputy director of the hospital. “We were very excited about this day as it was an opportunity to get closer to sport”, adds the director.
