Following the recovery session on Sunday at the Annexe, and a day off yesterday, Víctor Sánchez del Amo’s pupils returned to activity today at 7pm. José Rodríguez was part of the group, the second incorporation for the 19/20 season, who will be officially presented tomorrow at La Rosaleda (12:30pm).
In training outside the group were central defenders Luis Hernández and David Lombán who received therapeutic treatment (morning and afternoon) in the gym, due to their respective physical discomfort; the Madrid-born player to the left knee and the defender from Asturias to the internal lateral ligament of the right knee. The evolution of their injuries will determine their availability for the next match.
There was again a large presence of homegrown players in training today, namely goalkeepers, Gonzalo and Kellyan; defenders, Ismael, Juande and Cristo; midfielders, Iván Jaime and Ramón; and forward, Hugo.
Tomorrow, Wednesday from 9:30am, the team will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga.
