Málaga CF’s Cadete División de Honor winger has been called-up by José Lana to take part in two friendlies against Austria on 21st and 23rd February in Alfaz del Pi Alicante.
José Ángel Gaitán Díaz, Cadete División de Honor left-winger from the MCF Academy, has been chosen by Spain’s Under-16s for two upcoming friendlies against Austria next week in Alfaz del Pi, Alicante.
The performance of the homegrown 16-year-old Malaguista has caught the attention of the new coach of the category, José Lana, who has included him in the squad list of 23 players who will be in concentration for the two matches against the Austrian team, taking place next Tuesday 21st at 16:00 and Thursday 23rd, also at 16:00, both being held at the Albir Garden Pitch facilities.
The call comes just after José Ángel Gaitán’s participation with the Andalusian Under-16s last weekend in the Spanish Championships held in San Fernando (Cádiz).
This international call-up showcases the work carried out by the MCF Academy overall, particularly the Cadete DH team, coached by Alejandro Rodríguez.
