Before starting the training on the pitch, there was a video analysis session in the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room of the stadium. After 18:00, the players stepped onto the wet grass of the Annexe due to intermittent rain.
The pre-match training included initial physical activation, specific technical exercises, tactical work, and practice of set-piece situations.
No changes were made compared to Tuesday: 22 outfield players, plus goalkeepers Alfonso Herrero, Carlos López, and reserve team player Andrés Céspedes, were available to the coach. Rafita and Recio, members of Atlético Malagueño, were also present.
In the gym, outside of the group dynamic, Puga, Niño, Ramón, Moussa, Luismi, and Pastor underwent recovery treatment.
Tomorrow, Thursday at 21:00, Málaga CF will face CD Estepona FS at the Muñoz Pérez Stadium in the first knockout round of the Copa del Rey.
