The third match in four days and the third win, in a decisive duel, for Spain and Ismael Casas against the Japan Under-18s. Goals from Gutiérrez, Barrenetxea, Iker Losada and Cedric Wilfred led Spain to a 4-0 triumph at the annexe of Estadio Gran Canaria (Las Palmas) to take the tournament.
National team coach Santi Denia again counted on the Blue and White defender for the third match on the bounce, on this occasion in the starting line-up, being substituted in 73’ by his teammate Estacio.
As such, the versatile Malaguista player emulates other homegrown players from the MCF Academy who won this trophy with Spain’s youth teams, such as his teammate from the reserve team, Álex Robles and first team player, Javi Ontiveros. Congratulations Ismael!
