Ismael returns to the group with the new addition of homegrown player, Mike

The international full-back with Spain’s Under-19s was in training with his teammates this Tuesday, having overcome injury. Juvenil forward, Mike was new to first team training.

The Málaga CF squad returned to training this Tuesday to begin preparations for the next LaLiga SmartBank match against RC Deportivo (Sunday, 16:00) at Estadio de Riazor. The session was carried out at La Rosaleda’s Annexe due to the change of pitch at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.

Homegrown player, Ismael Casas was the positive news of the day. The full-back was in training with his teammates having overcome the injury to his left calf muscle. Midfielder, José Rodríguez also returned to the team dynamic. Reserve team player, Luis Muñoz received physiotherapy treatment after diagnostic tests confirmed a sprain to the left knee. Dani Pacheco and Juankar remained in the gym, both recovering from their respective injuries.

In regard to homegrown players, juvenil forward, Mike was in training today. After scoring the equaliser with the Blue and White reserve team last weekend, Víctor Sánchez del Amo recruited him for training this Tuesday, his first appearance with the first team. As well as Ismael and Mike, Gonzalo, Kellyan and Adrián (goalkeeper), Cristo, Juande, Iván Jaime, Hicham and Antoñín completed the homegrown players present in this morning’s session.

The team will return to training tomorrow, Wednesday (10:00) at La Rosaleda’s Annexe.
