Santi Denia selected Ismael for the starting-11 in the U-18s’ first game in Group B of the Slovakia Cup. The versatile Blue and White defender was in the starting line-up for Spain’s 2-0 win against Croatia (Marc Tenas and Arnau Puigmal), playing the entire match.
