Isco, pre-selected to play for Spain in the Olympics, visits the Summer Camp

Málaga CF’s Isco Alarcón visited the second week of La Academia Summer Camp, the same day it was announced he is included in Spain’s initial line-up for the Olympic Games in London.

During his visit to the Summer Camp, in Hotel Sol Andalusí in Alhaurín de la Torre, Isco spoke about the Olympic line-up.  “Being in the Olympics is a once in a lifetime chance, and I’m unbelievably proud at the possibility to be part of it, though I’ll have to wait until Monday to find out if I’m definitely going”, explains Isco, one of the 22 players chosen by Luis Milla, with just 18 in the final line-up.

More than 80 camp members in La Academia Summer Camp enjoyed Isco’s company, and the Blue and Whites player answered all sorts of questions.  “Seeing how pleased the kids are to see me makes me so proud, and so happy to be doing what I’m doing”, concludes the Benalmádena-born player.

This is now the second week of Málaga Club de Fútbol’s La Academia Summer Camp, though there are still places available for the remaining two weeks.
