Isco, part of the starting 11 in the pre-Olympics friendly against Senegal (0-2)
Málaga CF’s Isco Alarcón was in Spain’s starting 11 in a friendly match ahead of the London Olympics, against Senegal. The match took place in Gran Canaria, and against the run of play, Spain lost by two goals to nil.
The Benalmádena-born player, who was substituted by Tello, was very active on the pitch with movement of the ball, along with Muniain, Herrera and Adrián. However the strength of their opponent saw Luis Milla’s team defeated by 0-2 in the Maspalomas Municipal Stadium, with goals from Seck (14th minute) and Sadio Mané (46th minute).
