The new Malaguista coach headed up his first training session at the Annexe, taking the reins of the team and beginning to instil his method ahead of #MálagaRealValladolid.
The Guede era is underway. The Malaguista coach has taken command of the Malaguista squad and directed his first session this morning at the Annexe. Beforehand, there was a talk in the dressing room between the coach and the team for around 15 minutes.
Once on the pitch at La Rosaleda’s Annexe, Pablo Guede and his second in command Francis Bravo, instructed an intense session for nearly two hours, kicking off with a warm-up followed by laying the foundations for the tactical concepts he wishes to implement. Taking care of all the details, the new coach had individual conversations with most of the players, and made many explanatory pauses.
In regard to absences, Cufré underwent an MRI that determined a muscular injury to the left hamstring. Lombán was also not in group training today, suffering with hydrarthrosis in the left knee. Juande, Luis Muñoz, Jairo, Hicham and Chavarría continued with their respective recovery processes.
In terms of homegrown players, Carlos López, Javi Parada, Álex Rico and Loren were in action today. The latter focused on recovery training on the pitch together with Andrés Caro and Dani Lorenzo.
Another training session is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday at 10:30 at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
