The most famous table football tournament of the Costa del Sol capital has reached an end. The second edition of ‘La Rosaleda Liga Edición Especial’ came to a close at an incomparable setting: the VIP area of the Blue and Whites’ stadium.
La Rosaleda hosted over 50 people in the final phase of the tournament organised by the multinational beer brand, San Miguel. Sixteen pairs competed against one another in the competition made up of four stages: round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final.
Attending the event were Blue and White first team player, David Lombán, and Málaga CF Femenino players, Ana Buceta and Gabi Morales, who played an exhibition match with the MCF Foundation’s representative, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’. After getting through the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals, the grand final arrived for the ‘Smile’ and ‘Los Abuelitos’ teams, made up of José Luis Mesa - Josué Ortega and Juan Diego Florido – José Miguel Augusto, respectively. After a thrilling game, the ‘Smile’ team took the title and won a trip with the Málaga CF first team. The runners-up won two season tickets for the second round of the competition.
The exciting evening was livened up even more with a wide variety of San Miguel beers.
