Good dynamic continues for Femenino: Victory against UDG Tenerife 'B' and nine games without defeat

The Blue and Whites defeated UDG Tenerife ‘B’ (0-1) on matchday 17 of the Reto Iberdrola with a goal from Ayano Dozono. This win in Tenerife puts the girls in fifth place in the standings with 29 points.

Victory for Málaga CF Femenino against UDG Tenerife ‘B’ by 0-1 in the match corresponding to matchday 17 of Liga Reto Iberdrola Grupo Sur. After this victory in the Canary Islands, the Malaguistas are in fifth place in the table with 29 points, three points away from immediate rival, Villarreal CF Femenino.

The Costa del Sol side was in action at Tenerife’s La Salud ground against the UDG Tenerife reserve team. There were few chances for either team in the first half. A strong defence and goal defended by Noelia Gil prevented the locals from opening the scoring and after the first 45 minutes the scoreboard remained at 0-0. It was in minute 60 of the second half when Japanese midfielder, Ayano Dozono put her team in front with a goal from a lateral free kick. The only goal of the game, and the winning goal for José Herrera’s team.

The presence of the Japanese player on the pitch since her recovery from injury has resulted in two goals in two games. The first, against Fundación Albacete and this last one against Granadilla de Tenerife.

With this result, Málaga CF Femenino accumulates a run of more than two months with a good dynamic, not losing a match since 27th October against Granada CF Femenino (2-0).

The MCF Academy

The presence of Blue and White reserve team players is a constant within Málaga Femenino. Marina, Ornella, Lorena, Lucía and Judith Ledesma have all debuted with the first team, and now Andrea Ríos joined her first team line-up this weekend, although she didn’t play any minutes.
