Malaguista defenders Jesús Gámez and Weligton were injured in today’s game against Osasuna at La Rosaleda. The right back had to leave the field of play just before the end of the first half with twinges in his right hamstring, while the Brazilian central defender ended up with a bruise to the quadriceps in his left leg. According to the Club’s Chief Medical Officer, both injuries will need an estimated time of 24-48 hours to see how they develop, before tests can be carried out to determine the exact nature of the injuries, and whether or not the players will be able to take part in the league game against Real Sociedad in San Sebastián.
