First session of the week at La Rosaleda

The Malaguistas were in training on the main Martiricos pitch this morning to continue preparations for the first Copa del Rey clash against Peña Deportiva in Santa Eulalia.

The Málaga CF squad returned to work this Thursday on the main pitch at La Rosaleda Stadium. The close to two-hour session featured a training match against Atlético Malagueño.

Homegrown player Haitam continued with his gradual re-incorporation into the group, whilst Escassi, Álex Gallar and Fran Villalba continued with a specific preventive training plan.

Outside the group dynamic was Luis Muñoz, who has sustained a sprain to the left ankle.

Reserve team players Murillo, Moussa and Víctor Olmo continued with their respective recovery processes.

Tomorrow, Friday at 10:30, the penultimate training session will get underway at La Rosaleda before Sunday’s Cup game.
