Málaga CF underwent the last training session of the week this morning, and this afternoon, at 15:55, will head to the Spanish capital, by AVE train, ahead of Sunday’s clash with Rayo Majadahonda (18:00).
The Blue and Whites stepped on to the pitch at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium at10:00. Following the initial warm-up and various activation exercises with the ball, coach Juan Ramón López Muñiz instructed his players to carry out tactical and strategy training.
Injured players, Juankar, Lacen, Hugo and Miguel Torres remained in the gym this morning to undergo specific recovery training. The latter two subsequently moved on to the pitch to continue their recovery under the instruction of physical trainer, Manu Gestoso.
Homegrown player Iván Jaime was again part of first team training today, as he’s done all week. Joining him were regular fixtures Jack Harper, Iván Rodríguez and Keidi Bare.
The team will depart for Madrid at 15:55 ahead of tomorrow’s match against Rayo Majadahonda.
