The Blue and Whites stepped on to the pitch at the Annexe around 10:00, undergoing physical activation exercises for half an hour. The lads then focused on technical-tactical work with the ball at La Rosaleda Stadium.

Pellicer had goalkeepers Dani Barrio, Juan Soriano and homegrown keeper Dani Strindholm in action today, along with 24 players including reserve team members Ismael, Ramón, Benítez, Cristo, Quintana, Mini, Kevin and Julio plus ‘juveniles’ Larrubia and Loren.

Josua Mejías and Orlando Sá (with the Club’s permission) are the only absent professional players, as well as long-term injured Calero and Chavarría, and Hicham, who continue with their respective recovery processes.

The called-up Malaguista players will depart La Rosaleda at 12:30 to catch a Málaga – Madrid flight, followed by another flight from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela. On arrival in the Galician capital, the team will head to Lugo ahead of tomorrow’s LaLiga SmartBank matchday 33 clash (18:15, Ángel Carro).
