A rainy training session this morning for Víctor Sánchez del Amo’s men, who were in action for over an hour and a half focused on CD Lugo. The session kicked off with the usual warm-up and numerous activation exercises with the ball, before carrying out tactical and strategy training on the pitch at La Rosaleda.
Luis Hernández, Lorenzo, Lombán and Keko were not part of this morning’s session, but remained in the gym together with physical trainer, Manu Gestoso. Homegrown players Kellyan and Dani Strindholm (goalkeepers), Ismael Casas, Hicham and Antoñín were in training with the first team today under the orders of Víctor Sánchez del Amo.
Former Málaga CF forward, Roque Santa Cruz visited this morning’s session, together with the Club’s sports director, Manolo Gaspar. The Paraguayan international greeted the members of the coaching team and met Malaguista coach, Víctor Sánchez del Amo.
Málaga CF will bid farewell to the year on Saturday, with the final match of the first round of LaLiga SmartBank against CD Lugo at La Rosaleda Stadium (16:00).
