Evening training session focused on #MálagaAndorra
Málaga CF returned to training this Tuesday afternoon at La Rosaleda’s Annexe, without injured reserve team players Murillo and Víctor Olmo, who are both awaiting surgery.
The Blue and Whites stepped on to the Annexe pitch at 18:30, back to work following a day off on Monday. Activation exercises, work with the ball, rounds in groups and tactical training took centre stage this evening.
Pepe Mel had 25 players in action today; a total of 21 pitch players and four goalkeepers, including eight homegrown players: Carlos López, Arriaza, Dani Lorenzo, Loren, Haitam and new to the session, Arturo, Bilal and Cristian.
Outside the group, Andrés Caro underwent solo running, whilst Luis Muñoz and Ramalho carried out specific training on the pitch under the supervision of physical trainer, Toni Tapia. Juande, Chavarría and Moussa remained in the gym to undergo recovery treatment, together with Adrián (not registered).
Awaiting surgery are reserve team defenders Víctor Olmo and Murillo. The latter has a distal avulsion in the triceps tendon of his left arm, confirmed by an MRI and subsequent ultrasound performed by the Club's medical services.
Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, the Club will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
