Málaga CF’s Juvenil DH team are in their hotel in Orense, awaiting the last match of the biggest national competition. Joel and Álex Sánchez analyse the match against Real Madrid: “We’re really going to go for it”.

Following a week in Galicia, the Malaguistas are now just a few hours away from the grand final of the XXIII Copa de Campeones. The MCF Academy team will face the juvenil of La Fábrica del Real Madrid tomorrow, Saturday at 12:00, at O Couto stadium (Orense).

The 18 Blue and Whites’ players had their last training session this Friday morning ahead of the final, and the two coaches, Dely Valdés and Guti wished them the best of luck ahead of the game.

Players, Joel and Álex Sánchez speak to the Club media before tomorrow’s match:

Joel

Winning mentality

“We’ve got a huge match coming up tomorrow and we’re all raring to go. We’re convinced we can win and retain our crown. We’re really going to go for it from the start, as we have no other intention apart from victory”.

Try to get ahead

“We’re confident, whenever you go behind it’s difficult to come back, but we have that ability. Tomorrow we’ll do our best to take the lead first”.

Álex Sánchez

Experience, reigning champion

“I was extremely fortunate to take part in this competition last year and win. I’ve told my teammates that it’s an amazing feeling to win, which they’ll experience tomorrow when we win again! The entire team is motivated to repeat last year’s victory”.

Good sensations

“The Copa de Campeones is a wonderful competition, particularly if you reach the final the way we did. We’re all feeling good, extremely motivated and ready to go all out to win”.
