En-Nesyri debuts in Africa Cup

Malaguista striker, Youssef En-Nesyri took part in the second half of the DR Congo-Morocco match held yesterday in Gabon, corresponding to Group C in the Africa Cup.

The young Blue and Whites’ striker played for 29 minutes in the second half of the match between Democratic Republic of the Congo and Morocco, which ended in a 1-0 victory for DR Congo (Kabananga 55’). En-Nesyri, who substituted his teammate, El Kaddouri in minute 61, debuted in the Africa Cup of Nations, at 19 years of age.

In the other Group C match of the Africa Cup, it was a goalless draw between Ivory Coast and Togo. Morocco and En-Nesyri’s second match in the CAN is against Togo, taking place on Friday 20th January at 20:00.
