Club present at the RFAF Málaga Coach's Day

Málaga CF once again took centre stage at the annual gala for Coaches of the Málaga delegation of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation.

The traditional awards ceremony of the Málaga Coaches Association was held the day before yesterday at the San Juan de Dios Care Centre on the Costa del Sol.

A delegation from Málaga Club de Fútbol, led by advisory board member Antonio López, attended the event, which honoured the technical staff led by Mario Merino for Málaga CF ‘C’s promotion to the 1ª Andaluza Sénior. Similarly, recognition was given to the coaching staff of Miguel Selles Agua for Málaga’s championship in Group 13 of the Liga Nacional Juvenil, as well as to Pedro Bazán’s team for their victory in the 1ª Alevín category, crowning them as Andalusian Club Champions.

Special recognition was given to Málaga CF's promotion to LALIGA HYPERMOTION, with Antonio López accepting the special award on behalf of Sergio Pellicer and the Blue and White club. Additionally, the iconic Manolo Hernández Navarrete, advisor and driving force behind Málaga CF femenino, was honoured with the 'Juan Donaire' award, dedicated to promoting values and education in football.

Other notable awards included the ‘Antonio Mendoza Pérez’ prize, awarded for the first time to Pedro Valencia Díaz for his professional career, and the ‘Nacho Chaparro’ award, presented to Ismael Aragón Fernández for his collaboration and dedication to the coaching community.

The trophies for the remaining champions and promoted teams of the season, at the national, Andalusian, and provincial levels, rounded off a simple yet emotional Coach's Day gala organised by the Málaga delegation of the RFAF.
