Dotor returns to the Club on loan for the 2026/27 season

Málaga CF will once again be able to call on Carlos Dotor for the 2026/27 campaign. The midfielder returns to the Club on a season-long loan from RC Celta de Vigo.

The player will join the squad's preseason training immediately after completing his loan move to the Blue and Whites.

Carlos Dotor González (Madrid, 2001) arrived at Málaga just over a year ago and enjoyed an outstanding campaign, playing a key role in the Club's historic promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS last season.

Dotor made 35 appearances in the 2025/26 LALIGA HYPERMOTION season, starting 29 of them, and contributed one goal and four assists. In total, he featured in 40 matches last season, adding one Copa del Rey appearance and four more during the promotion play-offs to the First Division.

His physical presence and technical quality in midfield, particularly following Juanfran Funes' arrival as coach, along with his swift integration into the dressing room, made him a highly valuable asset both individually and as an integral part of the team's collective success.

With Dotor's arrival, Málaga have completed their third signing of the summer following the additions of Fernando Calero and Juan Cruz. The midfielder also brings top flight experience, having made 17 appearances for RC Celta in the elite during the 2023/24 season.

Málaga CF warmly welcomes Carlos Dotor back to the Club and wishes him every success in his second spell in Blue and White, confident that his commitment and quality will once again help the team achieve its objectives during the 2026/27 campaign.
