Diario Sur fights back against COVID-19, paying homage to the bars of Málaga

The newspaper has created a new section called ‘El bar al que vuelvo’ (‘The bar I return to’) to remember Málaga’s favourite establishments during a time when, little by little, we’re getting back to normal. Together with Diario Sur, #WeWillWinThisMatchTogether.

Since Málaga entered phase 1 of the de-escalation process, certain establishments have started to re-open their doors after two months. Step by step, with stringent safety measures and adhering to current regulations, the bars of Málaga province are coming back to life and will need everyone’s help to return to what they once were.

As such, Diario Sur has created a ‘love letters’ section for our favourite bars. A section in which different personalities from the city, as well as editors and readers of the newspaper talk about their favourite establishments. These letters will be featured in the ‘El bar al que vuelvo’ (‘The bar I return to’) section in order to help all bar owners who have suffered the economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

Through memories of unforgettable nights, anecdotes or the desire to sit around a table with your family and friends, Malagueños will weave a fabric of support for the bars.

With initiatives like this one by Diario Sur, #WeWillWinThisMatchTogether.
