In the early hours of the morning (Spanish time) Málaga Club de Fútbol Martin Demichelis took part in a friendly encounter in benefit of International Argentinean players Javier Zanetti and Maxi Rodríguez foundations. Some 25,000 people packed the Parque Independencia belonging to Newell’s Old Boys. Demichelis, who was in the ‘Amigos de Zanetti’ team with local idol and World-class icon Leo Messi, lost 6-8 to the ‘Amigos de Maxi’. Sensini and Giusti, two legendary defenders from the ‘albiceleste’, were the coaches at an invitation full of known footballers like Jonás Gutiérrez, Lavezzi, Solari, Scaloni, Ponzio, Banega and the retired goalkeeper Goycoechea, among many others.
