After a six-day break, the Málaga CF squad returned to work this Thursday afternoon at La Rosaleda. The main new addition was the presence of the first winter signing, Julián Delmás.

Back to work for Málaga CF following a six-day holiday over the festive season. Pepe Mel’s team was in training this Thursday afternoon at La Rosaleda’s Annexe, kicking off at 18:00 for an hour and a quarter.

Great dynamism and pace featured in all possession and finishing tasks within this first session with the team for Julián Delmás.

The right-back, the first Blue and White signing of the winter transfer window, trained at the same pace as his teammates and was reunited with Gallar and Rubén Castro.

Cristian gradually re-joined the 26-player group, overcoming the muscular injury in his right adductor.

Goalkeepers Carlos López and ‘Juvenil’ Mateo, Bilal, Dani Lorenzo, Issa Fomba, the aforementioned Cristian and Loren were the homegrown players in training today.

Three members of the squad were absent for different reasons: Manolo Reina, for personal reasons who will return to the team tomorrow; Esteban Burgos, with permission from the Club; and Lumor who is resolving bureaucratic issues in Ghana.

Injured Moussa and Víctor Olmo continued with their recovery processes, whilst Haitam is resting at home following surgery last Friday on the torn cruciate ligament in his left leg.

The team has a double training session tomorrow, Friday. The first is at 10:30 at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground and the second, getting underway at 18:00, will take place at La Rosaleda.
