City Council and Diputación renew their Málaga CF season tickets

Francisco de la Torre and Elías Bendodo visited La Rosaleda this Wednesday to collect their season tickets and took the opportunity to give a message of encouragement to the Club.

Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, and president of the ‘diputación provincial’, Elías Bendodo went to La Rosaleda today to renew their season tickets for 18/19, as they do every year.

Both Málaga political authorities toured the Blue and White temple and, after passing through the stadium, reached the pitch, where they posed for a photo with their new season tickets. They were greeted by CEO of The Academy, Hamyan Al-Thani. Accompanying her were Club advisers, Abdulallah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar.

Both Torre and Bendodo showed their usual support for Málaga CF. The mayor pointed out that a first class city deserves a first class team, and why he expects a fast journey through the Second Division. In addition, the Mayor showed his admiration of the new away kit. I think it’s a nice touch using the colours of our flag. It’s a lovely detail I greatly appreciate”, he said.

For his part, Bendodo stressed that people must support Málaga regardless of the situation: “Whether we’re in the First Division, Second Division, Champions or middle of the table…we must always support Málaga because it is a feeling he stated, whilst showing his optimism for the Club’s 16,000 season ticket holders.

Lastly, Torre talked about works on The Academy: “Málaga is complying with the development of The Academy; with the youth ranks in the city and province, which will allow us to create the foundation of a team that can be reinforced by the young players”.
