Match analysis

“Scoring points is always positive and important. Obviously, we would have liked to have claimed all three at home, that’s what we tried to do. We took the lead and could have scored a second goal in order to seal the match, but in the second half they improved, and you have to value the point against a complicated rival. Now we need to focus on the next game as it’s going to be a tough one”.

A competitive Second Division

“It’s not easy, every match in this division is going to be difficult. Rayo make it complicated, they’re a powerful team that have maintained the block from the First Division. Despite that, I believe we stood up to them and played one-on-one. We must value the point won and do well against Albacete”.

Goal analysis

“It was a very good goal, an excellent play. Juanpi did a great play between the lines, associated well with Sadiku, who opened it up for Adrián and served the ball to me on a plate. The team is becoming more at ease with the ball and I think it’s important that we continue to fine-tune our gameplay. We’re growing”.

Playing as a wing back

“It’s a different position that allows you to move upfront a little more but is also demanding. The positive aspect is more freedom upfront. I’ll work hard wherever I am”.

Next rival: Albacete

“It’s always special to return to places you’ve been, somewhere I was treated very well and felt at ease. We know it will be a tough game and we’re going to do our best to play well. We’re determined and full of enthusiasm to take home the three points”.
