The head of Málaga Deporte y Eventos, José Luis Paradas Romero recognised the Málaga CF Feminino player for her recent successes with the Spain national beach soccer team in Qatar.

The Galician-born forward with Málaga CF Femenino, Carol Glez has only been in Málaga for a few months and is already a loved member of the city. Her success achieved with the Spain national beach soccer team is the pride of Málaga CF and Malagueños.

Recently proclaimed world champion in beach football, having won the gold medal at the World Beach Games in Qatar, and with the option of becoming the best player in the world at this sport – the Malaguista is nominated for ‘Best Women’s Player of the Year – Carol has been recognised on an institutional level for her accomplishments.

The head of Málaga Deporte y Eventos, José Luis Paradas Romero welcomed the Blue and White player today to congratulate her. The growth of women’s sport, her career in Málaga and her time in Qatar with the national team were just a few of the topics they discussed.

Málaga CF adviser, Abdullah Ben Barek, and the sports director and coordinator of the Blue and White women’s section Mario Rueda accompanied the player at this event.
