Camacho says goodbye after seven seasons

The midfielder, who arrived at Málaga CF at 20 years of age and who has grown as a player at the hands of the Club, ends his time with the Blue and Whites after accepting an offer from German outfit, Wolfsburg.

The player came to Málaga at a young age in the winter transfer market of the 2010/11 campaign from Atlético de Madrid. Over the past six and a half seasons he has matured as a footballer, even becoming one of the team captains.

The midfielder leaves after competing in 199 official games: 177 in LaLiga, 11 in the Copa del Rey and 11 Champions League clashes, scoring 19 goals during his time as a Malaguista. Camacho will hold a press conference tomorrow (12:30) at La Rosaleda stadium.

Málaga CF wish to thank Ignacio Camacho for this commitment over the seasons, and wish him the best of luck for the future in the Bundesliga.
