Buonanotte suffers sprained ankle in training

Málaga CF players were back in training this morning, in the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium. Buonanotte suffered a sprained ankle towards the end of the session, and is awaiting tests. Midfielder, Portillo, held this morning’s press conference.

Today’s training consisted of running, stretching, rounds, various physical exercises, goal shooting and a practice match.  International players, Monreal, Camacho, Isco, Iturra, Seba, Kameni and Fabrice remain absent, with reserve players, Pol, Toni Casamayor, Diego and Mauri in training with the first team today.
 
With regards to injured players, Baptista, Santa Cruz, Sergio Sánchez and Toulalan underwent the first part of the session in the gym.  During the second part, Toulalan focused on continuous running, Santa Cruz and Sergio Sánchez worked alongside physical trainer, Enrique Ruiz, and Baptista exercised in the Inacua pool.
 
The team returns to training tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. in the Athletics Stadium.
