Boulahroud and Kieszek visit Finnish Supporters’ Club in Fuengirola

For over an hour and a half, the midfielder and goalkeeper were signing autographs and taking photos with all the fans who came to the event.

The Blue and White feeling knows no borders. One of the largest colonies of Finns outside their homeland is in the Costa del Sol town of Fuengirola. There, some 30 kilometres from La Rosaleda, the ‘Peña Malaguista Finlandesa de Fuengirola’ is located. On Wednesday afternoon Pawel Kieszek and Badr Boulahroud came to celebrate the V anniversary of the aforementioned supporters’ club.

Both the Polish goalkeeper and Moroccan midfielder enjoyed the support from so many Malaguistas. Talking to MCFTV they thanked fans: “It’s great to feel so much support. I didn’t know that in Málaga province there are 30,000 people from Finland, it was a surprise, they support Málaga a great deal which is very important and very beautiful”, said Kieszek, whilst Boulahroud also expressed his gratitude: “The Malaga fans contribute so much, they’re magnificent as they’ve helped us to achieve seven home wins. For that, thank you so much”.

The Club gave the ‘Peña’ a pair of signed shirts, presented by the two first team players and former Blue and Whites’ player, Juanito.
