Málaga CF Femenino defeated El Naranjo AD from Córdoba by 6 goals to 0 in the ninth match of Segunda División Femenina Group IV this season. Goals from Sheila (10' and 25'), Paula (40'), Pamela (55') and Adriana (76' and 77') secured the home win, moving the girls up to second place in the rankings with 22 points.
Málaga CF Femenino returned to Cártama, this time against Naranjo AD. No sooner had play got underway, the Malaguistas felt very comfortable on the pitch. They dominated the ball from the off and good gameplay translated into a superb goal from Sheila in minute 10, thanks to a magnificent Adriana pass (1-0). Málaga continued moving the ball inside the rival area, and whilst a shot from Adriana hit the post, in the 25th minute Sheila took the reins and increased the lead to 2-0. With five minutes to go before half-time, Raquel tried her luck, but Zou saved the shot. The rebound fell at Paula’s boots, and following an individual display, the international outwitted the rival defence to make it 3-0 at half-time.
There were more scoring opportunities in the second half. Paula had a chance initially, but it was Pamela who converted in 55’ to take the girls to a 4-0 advantage. Contreras made some changes to give minutes to Karina – who substituted Sheila in 60’ – and María R – coming on in place of Paula in 66’. In minute 70, Noelia joined the game in substitution of Pamela, and Kerlly was the last to step on to the pitch. Goal opportunities were shared amongst the Blue and Whites. Adriana came close in 65’, but the lack of angle made it impossible to score. The captain had to wait 11 minutes, and in 76’, when the referee awarded a penalty in Málaga’s favour, scored to take the lead to 5-0. A minute later, the number 10 returned to score again to make it 6-0.
