Málaga CF Femenino followed the established script to end the first round of the league competition with a massive 10-0 win against CD Híspalis in the 13th Segunda División Nacional Group IV clash.
Málaga Femenino got off to a comfortable start on the field of play. Starting performances from Alba and Kerlly brought a new air to Contreras’ team, who opened the scoring in minute 6. Paula launched the perfect ball from a corner, ending in a header from Pamela, with the Uruguayan sending the ball to the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead. Dominance of the ball belonged to the locals, and in 14’, Kerlly made the most of a clearance from a rival defender to propel an unstoppable right-footer towards the target, to increase the lead to 2-0.
The chances kept on coming for the Blue and Whites, and in minute 19 Adriana made it 3-0. The captain scored at her pleasure from the small area. The match was played entirely in Híspalis’ area, and in 28’, Sheila put the girls 4-0 in front. Only three minutes later, the number ‘9’ executed the perfect volley to make it 5-0. The match continued its course, and in the 39th minute, the referee showed the yellow card to Polvillos for a collision with Sheila in the small area, resulting in a penalty for the local side. Adriana scored from the penalty spot to take the advantage to 6-0. Just two minutes later, another foul, this time on the captain, led to another penalty, that Adriana netted from the clearance to sentence the first half with a big 7-0 lead.
No sooner had the second half got underway, Kerlly tried to score another goal, but the referee disallowed it for being offside. In 55’, Contreras made some changes to the Malaguista line-up, giving minutes to Meri, who after three months of injury, wore the Blue and Whites’ jersey. Meri’s entrance did well for the local side, and in 57’, Farfán opened her personal scoring account this season with an unstoppable shot from outside the area, to make it 8-0. The dynamic of the match remained the same, and Adriana made the most of an individual action to go 9-0 in front in 61’, and two minutes later, scored the 10-0. The coach brought off Raquel, Adriana and Paula, and introduced Janira, Noelia and María R. on to the pitch in 64’. Málaga continued to control and dominate the match, to seal the 10-0 victory.
