Baptista, ruled out for Málaga v Barça

This Tuesday, Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Julio César Baptista was the subject of some tests at the Málaga C.F.-Clínicas Rincón health centre at la Rosaleda Stadium. The Brazilian ended the last league game against Athletic Bilbao obviously injured; he has a torn muscle fibre in his left hamstring. According to the Club’s Medical Officer, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías, Baptista “is totally ruled out for the game against Barcelona on Saturday, and will need approximately two to three weeks rest to see how the injury develops, but he should have no problems starting next season”. The malaguista ‘6’ has waved goodbye to the 2010/11 season with 9 goals scored in 11 games, all in the second half of the BBVA League.
